Interview with Richard Dillane (the brother)

Are you like your character of Sean?
RD: I don’t cheat on my missus, but I’m six foot tall, I’ve got two kids (Austin, six weeks and Murray, four years old) — so we have a couple of things in common. I’ll tell you something funny. When my wife came to visit the set we ran into Gillian Kearney, who plays Sean’s ex-wife Jessica, who she had met a long time ago and I reintroduced them as ‘Mrs meet Mrs’. They do look strangely similar. They’re both petite, brunette, my wife is Scottish and Gillian is a Scouser, so they’re both Northern.

Your wife is not called Gillian too is she?
RD: Ha ha. Yes she is, but she doesn’t call herself that. She’s Gillian Jane, but she calls herself Jane.
